Crazy Old Coot is a collection of essays about bird hunting, bird dogs, and bird guns, memoirs, social and political commentary, and other pieces of creative non-fiction. Written by a confessed curmudgeon, the stories are glimpses of life and hunting in the north country, ranging from humorous to heart-breaking, capturing the passion, spirit and rewards of days afield with good dogs and good friends.
